For any fans of cold noodle dishes, this is the place for you.
It's a little pricey for lunch, but it's good quality and VERY generous portion sizes. Can't go wrong with the Mill Naengmyeon ($10.95) or Mak Guksu ($12.95)!
It's definitely not as good as the legit Milmyeon I had in Korea, but it's perfect for a hot summer day here in Virginia! -

This place is really understaffed. When I came here on a Friday night with friends, there was only one server running the whole place... It seemed like a disaster for her. Some of the tables were left uncleaned for an hour with the previous customer's food and dishes.
I had heard about the cold noodles so I decided to get it (The mil nengmyun). In terms of the taste, it didn't stand out too much.
They also blast their A/C. I was freezing inside. -

I used to love this place. Their jjajangmyun used to be one of the best in the area. However, the last 2 times I went, I was disappointed. The jjajangmyun was watery and their new menu item (soondubu fusion dish) was bland. I thought the first time was a fluke, but when I went back yesterday, it was the same. I was somewhat of a regular in years past, but I will no longer be back. They revamped their menu and updated the inside, but their food quality went down and prices went up. I would make my way out to Jangwon Banjom in Centreville (they've been consistently good lately).

My husband and I are big fans of this place. We have tried a variety of dishes but by far, our favorite is the jajangmyun. This is the black bean noodles. Like the typical Korean-Chinese restaurants, they have the combo deals which is the jampong/jajang (Seafood noodle soup/ black bean noodles) but I found something on their menu that I have not seen before!
I got a trio combo! They have a few options of that but the one I got which I would be the most popular is the fried rice/ black bean noodles/ fried pork (Picture posted). They give you a little cabbage salad in the middle which compliments the dish. A recommendation I would have for anyone getting this is to get a side of miso soup or spicy seafood soup (jambong soup)! I personally think this will help balance out your taste buds!
My husband got the spicy buckwheat noodle soup. This dish is cold and spicy. It comes garnished with a lot of veggies and half an egg. The amount of spicy sauce they put on the noodles may look alarming but it is not as bad as it seems haha. There is always plenty of seating and the service is always the best! Check it out :) -

Haven't been here in a while....and will probably not return.
It took a moment for us to get seated (party of 3), and it was super awkward. When we were seated it took a while for us to get a menu. Furthermore, it took a while for the staff to take our order--we were trying to get their attention and it seemed like they were avoiding looking at us. Again, it took forever for us to get the side dishes.
We ordered samsun jjajangmyun, spicy tangsooyook, and pork fried rice. The jjajangmyun was okay, the fried rice was subpar, but the tangsooyook was not good.
We couldn't finish any of the dishes...not because we were full but because the dishes were simply not good.
Also, my water was empty a quarter way throughout the meal--and it was never filled.
Again, when we were leaving we had to ask for the check 3 times over the course of 15-20 minutes.
Needless to say, will not be returning.
